Claimed to be Microsoft technical dept calling about a problem with my computer. Delayed connection - Person said he was "Steve" (with a thick Indian/Pakistani accent - previous call was from "Shaun" same type of accent). Didn't stay on the phone long after I said he wasn't from Microsoft and he was just scamming.

Got a call from this number this morning and I didn't answer it. I checked here and it's one of the latest scams the guy from Microsoft claming you have a problem with your computer. Thanks to this site I now know Not to answer it.

They say that they are an attorney's office that is wanting to know why I have not paid back a cash advance company even thought I have not taken a cash advance. I did not know that an attorney's office is called Credit Bureau of Investigation. They don't even tell you that the call is being monitored for quality control purposes. They are just scammers trying to get you money. Ignorant people trying to figure out a way to scam. Don't fall for it. Find a way to make then pay.

Live person caller knew my full name and said that it was from "Technical Service about my Windows computer." I asked to have my name and phone number removed and to not call me again.

This phone number is as far as I could track attached to a landline in Kent County Washington.  These people keep calling my job and getting me in trouble. Foul language, lying, persistant calling, false identifications(many names). I'm not paying to get more information on this number because it is not free on reverse phone identity. I can't take the abuse anymore and the BBB hasn't done anything about it.  How can we stope these people from calling?
