This individual calles me, saying that I was selected to receive $7,000 dollars federal grant. Of course I asked the guy to bring a government officer to discuss this "gift" from the government, then he hung up. This is an absurd and fishy phone call. I just want to ask if anybody has the similar phone call, recently.

It seems fishy. Saying I received 7,000$$ for being a good citizen. For paying my bills on time no criminal charges etc.. I'm young I only pay for my phone bill

That's a scam Mia. The government never gives away free money for being good.
They only give it away if your lazy behind walks down to the welfare office and fill out tons of paperwork.
The government NEVER calls anyone to give away money!

Yes, please take some time to read a few comments on the web site. The 'Government Grant scam' is well known, & has been going on for a few years. The Government will never cold-call anyone telling them they get free money.
