Stated it was the IRS and they were filing a law suit against me. Claimed they have been trying to reach me and this was the final call. It was a robo call. Never had any issues with the IRS.

And you still don't have any issues with the IRS.  If or when they call back,  just tell them you know that they are scammers and  you will see them in court.

Hi I got the same call/message.  I figured it had to be a scammer because I don't have issues with them.

This is part of the "IRS Lawsuit scam."  It is not the number that called but the number that I was asked to call, which I thought may be more helpful to report here (because the caller ID can be anything; recent callers have used my name and number as their caller ID!!).  The electronic voice said the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and asked me to call the number I'm reporting here.  I suppose it is hopeless to trace these people since this number probably just redirects the call. Anyway, I'm trying to help people who are probably stressed out by this call.  Too many scumbags out there hurting people.

Received the same call. Returned the call and the person receiving the call even threatened to send the local police to my address to serve me with papers, arrest me and then stated that I might spend 72 hours in jail. I am contacting the local police to file a report and am calling the real IRS to file a report. I really hope these scammers are shut down before too long!!!!
