Call received at 8:11 a.m. from Tacoma, WA. Claimed to be from the IRS but sounded like a call center. Note: the IRS does not call without first sending a letter (see their website).  Do not give any information to these people. Instead, report them to the Treasury Department. Www.tigta.gov

I got a call from them today too at 2:50 today.  I didnt pick up, but there was a message about calling about a
case file.. Tried to google the number but haven't found anything.

I Had a recorded message from 253-203-6604 when I got home today saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. So I called the number back and the lady who answered claimed to be IRS. I asked for her name and employee identification number after a pause she gave me mumbled name and number. I asked her if she was a Federal Employee of the US Internal Revenue Service her reply was an umm hmm I asked her if that was a yes and she gave me another umm hmm.  Instead of hanging up on me she contacted with another lady they were trying to scam. Too funny!! She disconnected us so I called her back to let her know I was reporting th to the FEDs so I did. And she starting yelling at me telling me to shut up and she was going to sue me. Wow stay away and report this throughout social media before the scam our Grandparents out of thier life savings.

I received one today saying I was being investigated..but to call tomorrow..

Got this call today I called back gave the phone to my husband cuz he knows more about this he asked how much I made last year they gave me a amount I don't work they couldn't tell me who I file with I don't live alone and they said my name is on deed but its not
