keep receiving calls from this number 253-200-5654, won't leave message, called the number and they just hang up.

We have been called from this number twice today.  Caller ID is "VEXOS".  I actually answered the first call.  At first, there was no response; then a female voice said "...this is Michelle. How are you".  After I responded, there was no response from the caller (robo voice?).  I kept the line open for about 30 seconds more with only dead air.  I didn't answer the second call.

Attempted blocking this number via Xfinity land line, only to be told the number is not valid.  Tried calling it and it simply says leave a message.
Pretty sad companies/persons are able to call from a bogus number and you can call in, but it's not a valid telephone number.  They never stop, no message and never pickup.Sharon Not

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
