This number has called multiple times, never leaves a message, and can't be called back. Also, the call display says Province of BC, but additional searching reveals that it's linked to some liquor store service. All this combined is very suspicious and not the way one would expect a government number to operate.

Reverse look-up indicates it is a Liquor Distribution Branch in Victoria, BC. Numerous calls this morning happening every few minutes.

Call display indicated "Spam Risk - Rawanda"! But then a message was left indicating that it was CA government trying to check in with my COVID-19 quarantine plan and that I should answer subsequent calls by similar numbers.... ya right.

A woman calling herself 'Alex' posed as a social worker from the BC Ministry of Child and Family Services. She asked at length about my child.
