Caller Id Says ERMI.....No one on the other end

They go by so many names.

Here's some guys I've spoke to before, they are legitimate debt collectors, however they are guilty of using the strong-arm tactics we've most likely all seen before.

The call with some personal information (as they have your credit report) and of course they want more.

My big problem with these guys is they won't take no for an answer. So here's the initial info:

Upon the second call today (which I missed) I returned the call and requested a supervisor. They gave me an Account Manager: Dennis Pizza

I got a call from these people telling me that I owed money on a credit card.My cards have no outstanding balance on them. This must be a scam.I was also getting calls saying they are JC Penney's.

I have had calls and when I answered no one was on the line.  On 4/26/07 at around 8:00PM, I received a call from ERMI, 248-605-0965, and the woman said I owed JC Penney's $248.00.  I told her I was paid up on my cards and did not have a card with JC Penneys.  She gave me a number to customer service at JC Penneys, 1-800-942-0800, which was a number for fun people.  This is diffently a hoax.

Auto dialer keeps calling every half hour!  I answered and there is no one on the other end.  I have no idea who/what this is.
