I am cross-posting this message at (248) 295-3905.
Automated collection calls continue to transmit a message to "Carol Longist" Claim number 280766 and 3945860 are contained in recent calls. Carol may have had this number prior to 2007 when my mother obtained it.
This is persistent scammer who continues to harass my mother. Previously, I tracked down a collection firm in Texas and sent them a "cease and desist" letter, which halted the calls for about 6 months. Message instructs recipient to call [no number] or (844) 290-7031. I note that other reports associated with (559) 242 - 0105 show a variety of firm names.
I believe that a new call claiming that ....additional steps will be taken in 24 hours if there is no response... has just started by another scam collector, "Patricia Scott" at (248) 295-3905 which includes a case number of *********** from a firm listed as "UPDATE" at (408) 560 - 1694
