call from the operator and give me verification number. keep repeating the number again and again. dont know what for?

Kept getting a call from this number telling me a verification number. Not sure why. Want it to stop. Anyone know how?

This is a number that will verify your cell phone number with What's app a cell phone texting app. They call you and give you a number that you then enter into the app on your phone to verify your phone service so you can use the texting app.

Calls leaving a voice mail with an automated voice giving a number in Spanish. I have never used What's App.
