unwanted call

Someone called wanting to know my first name. I would not give it to them.  Now their calling several times in a day.  Have no clue as to why.

They call and if you answer they say "hi this is <name>" as if YOU called them.  They do not leave messages.  If you call them back they say "Hi this is <name> who is this?" Once you identify yourself to them they are no longer in violation of the DNC regulations and they MAY CALL YOU since you have now initiated a business relationship!

Best thing is to identify your number as private and hang up w/o giving any information.

They call me several times a day. I am working on tracking down who it is and will post iinfo when I get it. They are annoying and harassing me.
