A male called me from this number at 11:12am today and left a VoiceMail, "Please call Steve, 248-202-1255, thank you." Called back and got a VoiceMail box that isn't personalized. I hung up without leaving a message. Don't know who this person is or how they got my mobile number.

Did you recently meet, and give your number to, someone who resells seasonal items? If so, that's who called you to see if you needed anything. His name is Steve, an older gentleman.
