Just a telemarketer

This is a paid fundraiser for the Maryland Vietnam Veterans Association

continued calls from organization that I asked to be put on do not call list

They said fraternal order of police...but others here say other organizations

For-profit phone solicitor on behalf of various non-profit organizations.  This is annoying, but legal and not a violation of the DNC list.  Out of habit, I picked up the phone w/o checking the CID. When the caller launched into a spiel about fundraising for the local FOP, I told them that I do not contribute through paid fundraisers and hung up.  I marked the call type "telemarketer" because the caller was not actually from a non-profit. They are telemarketing fundraising, and they keep as much as 95% of what they receive. Very little actually goes to the non-profit for which they claim to be supporting.
