Received a call from this number they claimed they were the investigation department of the IRS and that there was a pending investigation against me. Said they would send police officers to my home if I did not co operate.

Hi, I got the same phone call, the guy was saying I have the pending investigation against my tax return, he said he is going to send the local police to arrest me.
