I was at home early Tuesday evening (4 January) when the phone rang. Our caller ID said "Owens Corning," so I opted not to answer as we're already on the Do Not Call list and I didn't feel like dealing with a sales call. When the answering machine picked up, I heard some background noise and a few people talking. It was clear that they had no idea the call had connected. As I listened, I heard people discussing various topics and using rather colorful language, including the "N" word and calling someone a "son of a [***]." I chimed in with "Hello?!" and announced that I was on the other end and could hear everything. They immediately hung up.
