THEY SIMPLY HUNG UP WHEN I ANSWRED.
BUT IT WAS 10PM !!!!!

I finally answered and they tried to sell me something related to diabetes and Medical.

Got a call from this number, they said they were from Medicare and were doing a survey. I told them I don't get Medicare and then they said it was about my husband. They new both our names.
Hung up after that.

This is kind of making me mad. I would like to know what they want..

I keep getting these calls, too, but I never answer them and they never leave a voicemail.  However, from reading the other posts here, I'm pretty sure it's a call-center that can be hired by a variety of companies to make outbound calls for them, either to sell something or to raise donations. Nothing to worry about--the reason you may not get to speak to anyone when you answer is because their automated dialing system lets them dial several numbers at a time, and they only speak with the one that answers first.  The background noise, of course, is the sound of hundreds of people making sales-calls.  You can definitely ignore this one!
