Called on January 26th 2016 at 12:05 PM and CID displayed "Darling 240-439-8044" and of course, no VM was left. Since no VM was left, the call wasnt important to begin with. I dont answer my phone from #'s that I dont reconize, regardless who is calling and if they cant leave a VM, it's there loss, not mine.

Yes, it is the fraternal order of the Frederick Maryland police department of wharf rats. They need more money because the money that they receive from the counties/state of MD is just not enough. blah blah blah. Reminds me of my ex who's hand was always out until she hit by that bus.

all these B.S. "fraternal order of ______(take your pick - police. deputy sheriffs, fire chiefs, deputy fire chiefs, etc. etc. ad infinitum, ad nauseaum) are just that- B.S.  It's just some schmuck, probably sitting in front of his computer in his parent's basement.  This barely legal/illegal scam was written up in the Washington Post.  They invent these "fraternal order of ______" to collect money, allegedly for "charity". Yet, at least 80% of the money collected winds up in the schmucks pocket for "administrative expenses", with very little, if any of the remainder going to charity.  Doubtful if these "fraternal orders" even exist.  Do not participate in this scam.  Do NOT give this a**hole any money.  My response when they call me "take my name off that sucker list, I'm not giving you any money"  Then, I hang up.  I suggest anyone reading this do the same - and be done with him.
My thanks to Comcast for setting up this website.

Called yesterday, January 26th, at 5:11PM,  Answered the call because it is a local number for me.  A human being identified himself as collecting donations for the Fraternal Order of Police.  Actually, the Fraternal Order of Police is the name of Local, State and National Police Unions.  Any donations made to them are not tax deductable.  Also, the Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police states on their website that they do not collect donations by phone.
