They called twice in a row but did not leave a message. I have blocked over 20 phone numbers that begin with 240-374- and various last 4 numbers.
It is a scam. I've never been in debt. They used to leave messages in an Indian accent asking for Ryan Lewis but now they just hang up.
The phone companies need to be harder on these crooks and give us options to only allow calls from numbers we want. Also the ability to block any number originating by VoIP. I'm 99% positive that's where most of these scams are generated.
You can also thank the companies that took U.S. Jobs and shipped them to India. Those crooks are stealing our info from their databases and selling them to scam call centers.
