Keep calling and they said " I have a call waiting for you"  Just like a long distance call in the old times. The operator after refusing to ID his company. Say I will now transfer you to the call. Another person began asking for a "Ferando Something"  He refused to leave or give any more data and said I call some other time and hanged. I believe this is scam. People are now trying to sell, blame, or get you in trouble.  I will have them blocked from my phone!

I just got a call from this number asking for "Fernado" also!

This phone number is a call agency used by Portfolio Recovery in the attempt to collect debts of long outstanding, Portfolio Recovery uses this company to call you and make contact instead of them calling you because you have refused to discuss a debt with them that they bought for 2 cents on the dollar from some creditor of yours a long time ago. To preclude them of calling back tell them on the 2nd call that it is harrassment and you want to know their CEO's name and their physical address so you can turn it over to your attorney for possible legal actions. It will make them think twice about being involved with Portfolio.

Just got a call at 8:45 P.m. and a lady with a thick Filipino accent left a message on my cell phone saying she is from an "outsourcing debt collection agency" regarding outstanding debt I owe. Nice try, I pay all my bills on time. I have 13 different bogus phone numbers all beginning with the area code 240 on my blocked list.   They call at all hours and multiple times. Ridiculous!     I'm going to invest in the silent ringtone app so I only get calls from people on my contact list.

Just got a call from this number, sounds like a busy boiler room in the background, but they didn't say anything and hung up.
