Recorded computer message saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Scam. It isn't even an IRS phone number. It's being reported on other phone complaint sites as well. Don't fall for this crap!

BTW, following the directions on the IRS site to file an online complaint eventually gets to the point where they want you to file a complaint with donotcall. So not very helpful. I will try to call.

Just a follow up on the IRS site. The phone number is busy. You can file a complaint online if you click the link in the forum thread about IRS Telephone Scams here on this site. Go to FTC Complaint Assistant. Leave IRS site.
