Recording left on my voicemail stating this was a legal matter and me or my attorney need to call within 24 hours to resolve this matter.  The number to call back was 240-324-6939, however the number on the answering machine was 319-555-0135.  I did not call back and will not call back.  It is a scam!

I looked the number up on a search on line.  It is a land line in Maryland.  240 324 6939.  Has a back ground check and all the info.  I received the same info on my voice mail as every one else.  If you pay the sight they will give the guys name and his family members.  So way are the cops going to arrest this son of a [***]?

I think it's the FTC who investigates this type of criminal.  I'm sure if they knew how to identify and locate these callers, and if they had jurisdiction, they would be building a criminal case against them.

Well, the reason is, the callers are located in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of US law.  Invest in a call blocker .
