Get several calls a day from this number. Have started picking up and immediately disconnecting.It's Sat. and not quite 2:00 and I've received 2 calls. Expect more will come. Would turn my ringer off, but have a friend who  had a lung removed yesterday, and want to be sure she can reach me on either landline or cell.

This is American Vets looking for donations.

Reads "Out of area" on caller ID. Called 12/12/12 at approx. 8:00pm ... no message left.

Never Never Never donate anything thru a telephone call to a person that you did not personally call and do not know beyond a shadow of a doubt who it is.  With all of the scamming going on today,  you will never know who is collecting your money. Although they may be legitimate,  one can never be sure who is getting their cc or debit numbers.   Dollars to help our veterans is a good thing.  If you choose to contribute,  please initiate the contact to them thru a known and safe number to make suitable arrangements for your donations.

These people are rude. They call between 4 and 6 times a day. The one time that I did answer it I had to say hello three times before the person on the other end finally answered. When they did answer they asked for either a clothing donation or $50 dollars to help the veterans. When I told them I could donate clothing the person called me a cheap bast*&^ and hung up. I love our veterans and will continue to support them through just about any other means other than these people.
