As long as you're never expecting a call from Maryland (240 is a valid MD area code)

Another day, another scam. Caller ID: Mechanicsville, MD. Didn't answer, blocked the number.

I answered this call, because it was a local number. The recording offered a pain medication, approved and paid for by  BCBS. In one of the comments above I see that the message said the medication was approved by Medicare.  How do they know, I have BCBS and someone else has Medicare?
