FYI its illegal for any debt collector to threat anyone nor state they are investigators and ask for you to pay only by debit or credit card. Its illegal to claim your going to jail for something this small. You can only  get paper work from a court to make arrangements. A debt collector cannot contact you if you request then to stop. You can either send cease and decease letter by mail or email. PDLR is a fraud, and a scam company. They have already been under investigation and if they contact you you call FBI or FTC or Attorneys for Consumers. They will tell you that these people are criminals and are trying to scare you just to get free money from you that you will never see again. Watch out for them telling you they are investigators of any kind. If they are rude and harassing they are violating Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Report them!

To everyone who has been harassed by scam payday loan debt collectors PDLR, CSA, CFS, or other names of whom they claim to be are not a real company. FTC, FCC, Attorneys For Consumers, and FBI have notified people of these scams. They find information on people, rather if you own money or not for an old loans and threaten them. It is has been investigated! They change numbers, names and will not provide accurate addresses. FTC and Attorneys For Consumers have tried to contact them, they did further research on them. They stated that its not legit and to tell everyone to ignore the calls until they are tracked. You have the right to report them, tell them to stop contacting you and notify local authority if they continue to contact you. You can not be arrested for a payday loan, but only to be asked to make payments, but again you have the right to cease any contact with any debt collector by law. According to FDCPA or Fair Debt Collection Practices Act they have been violated by this company and others. Section 805 will provide information on what you can do and how to stop it. Read further for finding out if you have been violated. The link is below.

I received a phone call from this number yesterday stating I had a payday loan back in 2007 and that I was going to be charged with a felony and a warrant for my arrest at my local sherriff's office, if I did not pay them $ 400.00. This place is a scam, I fell for it now, I am suffereing by having to file complaints through the sherriff's office and with my bank.  DO NOT believe them.  They have just enough information about you, last 4 of your social, address, etc. They even called a family member.  This is insane.  I had previously in the past couple of weeks applied for a credit card with Capitol One, that's the only place I could think they got my info from. BE CAREFUL ON HERE!!!
