Mine came from 970-482-1410 and starts off with static and then says "this call has been placed on behalf of your local newspaper if you have any questions regarding this call please call us at 866 THE PAPER...thank you." and then a bunch of static.  I started getting the calls on 18 Jan 11 and already looked at this blog so I put it in my "Telemarketing" Contact and pushed it to VM this AM when I got the recording.  I've been on the DNC Registry since it began.

I answered once and the lady asked if I was enjoying my Dallas Morning Newspaper. I have never received or subscribed to the paper. I let the lady know she had the wrong number, she said she would remove it but I still get two to three calls a day from this number. I now just ignore them.

For the past three or four evenings, during dinner hour, we get a call from the above number, Caller I.D. states Dallas Morning News.  This is strange since it is not the correct area code for Dallas, which is 214. They do not leave a message and we do subscribe to this paper.  I would think IF this call is legitimate they would indeed leave a message to return their call.  After reading the above complaints I find this very suspicious.
