Received a call this morning (Sunday) asking for donations for MD Chiefs of Police for Children I.D. kits.  I explained we did this in church a few weeks ago.  Then he said it would also go to help with the Amber Alert system.  I said I would make a small donation.  He put his "manager" on the line who told me they would only accept payment by Visa, MC.  I said no.  He said he understood my hesitation but I would not be responsible for anything I didn't agree to.  I said no again to giving him a credit card over the phone and he very curtly told me they would get a bill to me in the mail and please return payment in one week, then hung up.  The caller did say at first that he was working for a marketing company that they had hired.

Received a call from 240-560-2625 - didn't answer it.  Caller ID said MD Cop.

i have been getting same calls from a 240 560 2625 number and no one answers me i call back and the operater say your call can not be compleated at this time whats up with this

got a call from md cop I told them to take me off their list. They continue to call from 240-560-2625 about 5 to 6 times a day.  Today I answered the guy said we want to keep kids safe I told him I had already told them to remove me from their list. The man then told me that he was the MD cheif of police I told him that I was now going to report them for phone misuse. He said ok my name is William Buyers and my number is 1-800-379-5694. He also stated that I never told him to take me off the list because this was the first time he has called me (whatever) Its a game dont fall for it I have filed a report for phone misuse.

received a call from md cop with same number 1-240-560-2625. I did not pick up the phone. My voice mail just had static.
