This is a phishing scam, pretending to be the investigation department of the IRS.  It's a scam - beware.

Scam, said I had a warrant issued for me from 2008 for defrauding the IRS, and that I should have been contacted by the local police because I never responded to their communication.

Scam alert. Mess with them to waste their time.

I received a call from them, with a horrible English saying that they  called from the IRS, and they ask me to gave my information, I told them to give me the address of the IRS's office closest to my home, and I would be there to check  the problem. So, They was told me that there was no office in my state (texas)
(What a stupid thing!!!)
I followed the game without giving my  information and became increasingly furious the [***]*** indu.
Then I told them: I am sorry,  but I can't  give you  my information by phone, and there she screamed in desperation that they had found a violation in my income tax. Then I said:  ok, then send me a police officer to my department, you know my address, [***]. Oh... and he should go after five pm. I'm working, stupid !!!
