Says his name is Detective John Montgomery with the FDA in Washington DC and there is a warrant out for your arrest but could be settled before the warrant is issued.  Sounds like he wants you to send him money to squash the issue.
Works on people's fears.

Got same call from John Montgomery.  FDA says it is a total scam.

I got the same call with all the same MO as all the other calls list here.  I worked in criminal justice for 36 years and as the other lady's comment stated, tha is not the way warrants are settled and reconciled.  I called a friend of mine who is a DEA Agent he no way and if he called me back to give him his DEA number and tell him they needed to talk to him and they would handle the matter.  Well, he did call back I'm about an hour and asked me if I was at WalMart yet to get the $911 money gram.  I said NO and that he needed to call the DEA at.their number and the DEA would take up the matter.  He got extremely agitated and told me that I had become vey uncooperative and he was just,going ahead and sending authorities to my house to pick me up.  I haven't heard anything else.

I got one today too. Same FDA investigation scam. When I laughed at him he hung up the phone.

SAME CALL --  Says his name is Detective John Montgomery with the FDA in Washington DC and there is a warrant out for my arrest but could be settled before the warrant is issued.  He told me to western union $911.00 to Dominican Republic!  and he will give me safety code in case to stop warrant.  I work in the court system ... that is not how to stop a warrant!  No safety code issued, what an idiot.  Asked him to give me my address he has, he gave me an old address.  Told me to Western Union $911 to : Melvin Nova, Bani, mtcn control #.  I told him I was recording his conversation.  His call back number was 877-311-2289 x449.
