Received an e-mail with numbers and text to call an unknown person. They did not explain what it was for. I deleted and did not call the number.

Same email from an unknown name pretending to know you. Sometimes even flirtatious emails. It's a scan company pretending you owe them money. They offer you just once chance to pay them before they take you to court. Total scam. Argue with them and they lose it. They threaten to come to your house, break down your door.

I got an email as well.  Deleted.  Don't bother. Flirty email of disgust from someone who wants my money.
