Unknown number has been calling for days, and don't leave a message, so and I finally answered. Not sure why these robo-calls are legal and why they can't be stopped.  Do Not Call List does nothing to help the consumers keep these scammers from calling every day.  Eventually got someone on the line and when I say I am on Do Not Call list, they just hang up.  Just block the number.  I have YouMail app on my phone and it blocks the number and now they CAN'T call me anymore!  I have nothing to do with YouMail, but it is a great app to block phone spammers!

It appears your understanding of the Do Not Call list is ... faulty.  Here is a short summary of the facts, using small words to fit your intellect:

1.  The DNC list is NOT a call blocker!
2.  The DNC list is used by registered, honest telemarketers, to avoid calling people who do not want to be called.
3.  Scammers and spammers do not care ... those criminals call anybody.
4.  The DNC list is NOT a call blocker!  (Just in case you missed reading #1)
5.  Exemptions to the DNC list include: political calls, charities, and other NON-sales calls.
6.  The DNC list actually works as intended!

I answered and the man said this is Chris from customer service can you hear me. I hung up im sure its a telemarkerter. Do not answer at all
