Picked up and they hung up after I said hello. How do you block these numbers?

Yeup... Been happening for about 2 weeks now. Their auto-message-leaving algorithm is broke, it doesn't understand voice mail greetings and the message gets cut off.

They just called again, and I picked it up this time... It's an online pharmacy, and I've been placed on a VIP list. I told the woman that I wasn't interested and that The Internet is getting wise to their spam game.

Yea I have been getting this as of the last couple days. When you call back it says "We're sorry the phone you are trying to reach is not in service" Damn scammers at it again. The internet is amazing to search out these jokers

Me too. However, I have an electronic device that automatically rejects the call after the first ring. Its a Bell-tronics caller ID machine. sweet.

Caller ID showed up on my bb device a few times and found out that it is no longer in service. It does not make sense at all. Might be related to either scam going on or telemarketing.
