I have a TracFone. How come all of a sudden I'm getting spam phone calls on it?

Keeps calling me and says it's last time, blah, blah. I didn't know so many people affected. Somebody better go to jail for this.

Calls from this number several times a day with offers of catr warranty.

They have been calling me non-stop. They even got my work phone number some how. So now I get calls on my cell and at work.
I answered once and spoke to a "representative." I told them my car was leased and I don't need to renew a warranty! I told them to take me off the list. He said "done." Then I asked, "Do you even need my name?" He said "Nope." Very shady.
So about three weeks went by and they just started calling again. VERY ANNOYING!

Just received a call from them. They said my warranty on my vehicle was going to expire and I should talk to someone ASAP. I know it was BS, because I don't have a new vehicle. Be VERY careful, this sounds like an awful scam!
Also, I am in Canada, Ontario and use Bell.
