This is the number for the Lodge 38.  The Lodge represents the officers in the community.  Call the number back, request their outfit and call your local police department for verification.  Also request who the check should be made out to (it should not be a regular persons name).

tricky callers "Hey is Jane there?"  (usually a male calling ) very clever maybe it's a friend or boyfriend.  "yes can I take a message?'  oops honest mistake by a roommate  Jane owes $ on scavenger debt from 15 years ago, when you didn't even know that person. They will be calling everyday now.  Remedy = there is never anyone home for ANY caller unless you know them.  Keep it simple.  "I'm sorry no one lives here anymore, it's vacant, wrong number, no one here by that name."
