Sean Marshall called... said a serious accusation against me... "Crime Investigation Dept.... "call so I can help you before this gets more serious?"  "God bless"

I received the same call-it's a scam!

Sean Marshall. Heavy accent. IRS officer.
Received the same call. googled it before i called back. he said i owed money to the IRS and i either paid or he would forward my files to the police for my arrest. i went along just to see, so when i asked for more information or for him to mail me anything, he refused and said i had to pay there and then. inquiring further i asked whether the payment would be via credit card or cheque or money transfer, and he said that the IRS didn't take any of these forms of payment, that I needed a cell phone and they would call my phone to make the charges, and while they were making the charges to my phone, i couldn't hang up or they would send my files to the police.
If i had any doubts whether this was a scam or not, this last payment part cleared any doubts.

Just got this scam call today.  Thank you for posting this.
