I received a call from the number 234-789-856, the caller stated he worked for goverment grant and when i questioned his propaganda the told me "I come kill you tonight". this guy is crazy and needs to be stopped!

Just got a call from the same 9 digit phone number.  When I answered it there wasn't anyone on the other end.  I think I've had these before and there was some beligerant foreigner on the other end when I wouldn't give them any information.  Very annoying.

This is a scam...they want your routing # and checking account information...to take out 7,000.00 not gave you anything...the government will never call you. they will send you information thru the mail for a check.

I just had a phone call from 234 789 856, telling me that I won $7,000 in government grants. They told me that this was a grant and not a loan, and that I would not have to pay any of it as long as I used the money for legal things (bills, school, etc). I was told that I won this because I was an outstanding citizen for paying bills and taxes on time, not having a criminal record, etc. She verified my name and address and I was then told to call 509-540-3960 with confirmation number UN009. When I called the number there was no answer so I Googled the number received and found this blog.  So glad that I did not go through with this! How did they get this information? I did not give my SS number. It is scary to think that people do this, and build people up with hope only to try to scam them out off money.

Who is the people ? If they have a phone # How come we can not track them back ? does any goverment agency have the tools see where is the # ? from.
