I also received a text from Craig "a marine" who wanted to pay via PayPal.  He asked me to send him pics of any flaws on my items (which I did) and then he asked if I would accept paypal.  His email address was craigashley147@gmail.com.

I'm glad I found these postings before it was too late.

Received a text response from this number to a craigslist ad.  It was a scam.  Said she was a Marine and wanted to pay via paypal and send someone to pick it up.

All together gang - "Craigslist is NOT eBay, We don't take Paypal" Send the "Marine" an email back and tell them "Sure, no problem. Have your friend come over with the cash". Makes sense, right? And "boom" the scammer vanishes in a puff of logic.

Got the same message asking to pay me through PayPal. This is the 5th I got today. Seems like they are targeting the southeast region of Craigslist
