Call received around 2:30 EDT and did not answer. No message left. Glad this site exists thank you everyone that contributes! Die Scammers!!

Just missed a call from them, no message left. I hate calls like this.

Got a call from them today 10/7.

They are telemarketers for credit card companies trying to get you to 'lower your credit payment terms'

They will NOT say who they are (obviously they can't) and will NOT give you any company information (as if they had any). You can either block them on your cell phone using the Mr Number app or pick up the call and after you establish someone is on the other end, leave the line open.

Don't worry, you will not be charged for picking up the incoming call.

I know about this [***] because someone I know told me how to beat them at their own game!!!

Credit card services  call daily even though I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!

Received pre-recorded message stating:
<cut-off> ...your credit card accounts. They are no problems currently with your account. It is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Press the number one on your telephone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates. Thank you.
