Received several phone calls from a person telling me my family purchased me a free emergency medical altert system.  I didn't realize at first it was a recorded message and simply hung.  I continue to get these calls around 5:30 pm daily.

I receive these calls daily - Monday - Saturday.  "this is medical supply company".......  It certainly does not sound like a recording, but according to others, it is.
I have reported this number to the National Do Not Call Registry.  Not sure if it will do any good or not, but it certainly won't hurt.  Also, it makes me feel like I am actually doing something to try and stop these calls.

Unfortunately registering on Do Not Call will do no good since the number is spoofed and calling from a country that doesn't reciprocate with U.S. laws.

Just received a call, did not leave a message. It hung up before it went all the way through my message.

Like the many, I am on the do not call list.  I agressively block robocalls but they still come through.  I blocked 234-207-5549 and they used this number.  What earthly good is the do not call list when they flaunt that law routinely.  The credit card people were fined and they continue to call (not this call, however).  I let my phone ring for 30 seconds just to take up some of their time.  Some folks take the time to engage them in misleading conversation just to tie up their time.  I worked in a phone center so I know every little bit of delay works against the callers. Our daily paper has pegged this call as fraudulent.  I did not answer.  Somehow we need to fight back because the government sure isn't any help.
