Just went through almost the entire process in buying a "pug puppy" from her. First off, we were suspicious because if she lived in North Dakota, why would she be posting on craigslist in AZ? Also were sketched out because the way the conformation email from the "pet travel agency" was laid out. It looked like a four year old with a glitter obsession had put it together. By this time I really didn't want to believe it was a scam, so I asked if she could take a card to ensure insurance assuming it was. She ended up saying, "you want me to abandon my pug? come on you know this is for real" which basically sounded like a teenager trying to get someone to smoke pot for the first time. Overall, I was really disappointed. However, I'm more disappointed to know that she got other people with this scam as well.
I actually called her out on it, telling her that we knew it was a scam.
Be careful! Don't fall for lies :)
