I got the same call from them saying they where from a law firm in Ohio. they where going to have me arrested the next day.

I had a similar call from this number. I had a dispute with the guy with the heavy accent and they were trying to argue with me that they're not a scam. They had my info and thy thought I was born yesterday. Scam artists do have ways of getting info. They were telling me to pay a 700 charge to end the charges filed against me and I just wasn't having it. I told them
I'm going to report them and they hung up. Second time they called they had a different man talk to me and that's when the argument began. So they told me that authorities was going to come to my work and arrest me. I basically told them "have them come", I know it was a scam.
The first time it happened to me, I was scared but now this time, I'm pissed off that they could do that to a person. :p

I just had a man call, named Sheldon who then transferred me to the paralegal, Michelle Jones, who reviewed my case with me. Informed me I was being sued by a payday loan company I have never heard of and that she had my credit report in front of her and that she knows I am not a thief and that I must have made a mistake, so she wants to help me get out of this trouble by offering for me to make a payment for $481 that could only be paid via GreenDot MoneyPak. When I asked her to send me the documents via email or mail, she went off! Saying she tried to help me, but if I dont care then she doesnt care.  I will be arrested tomorrow morning at my job and that I will owe over $8000 in legal fees. I was scared, so I said I would go to the CVS as she instructed to send the money.  My gut told me it was scam, so reading this website confirmed it.  Thanks

I recived a call from this same number this morning at 8.30 saying that i owed  money an i called the loan place i borrowed from an they told me that to disregard them.i scared the living crap outa me i see now im not the only target on this at first i thought it was real i don't see how a person can due a thing like this it's just wrong!!!!!!!!so,i guess this number is a true scam .I'm just a good old stay at home mom.

how can i make him stop calling?
