I received a phone call in my workplace and they also said they were from Slater & Slater Law Firm and that I was to be arrested and spend the weekend in jail because of an unpaid payday loan which I never received. I am in the process of filing a claim against them and also a police report as they did read to me my social security #, and have my address and personal information.

Received phone call on my cell for my husband, upon questioning learnd he would be put in jail on Friday, August 17.  Gave the name Brian, a paralegal with the company, but would not give the company they worked for.  They did have my address where the police will be picked up and arrested.  Guess we will have to wait untl Friday to see if he goes behind bars!!!!ha ha ha - What a joke!!!

I keep getting phone calls on my cell phone (which is a new number) and on my mom's house phone. Today's call came across the caller id as Ohio..The foreign male voice asked for me and my mom said I wasn't here and asked if she could take a message..The guy said to my mom that I will be getting arrested on Friday (8-17-12) and will be going to jail for 3-4 federal felonies

I just received a phone call from a guy named William Slater from this 234-200-0909. When I answered the phone I pretended to be someone else. I did this because the same person called earlier in the day and left a message with my 14 year old daughter. Not having a clue of what was going on I tried to get as much information out of Mr. Slater as I could. Same accent as everyone has previously described. He told me not to call back until tomorrow because his company was closing in 10 mins but he made sure to leave the message that I am being sued and if he doesnt get a call back in 24-42 hrs that there is a warrant for my arrest and a subpeona and they will be coming to get me. So here I am like all of you and wondering WTH?!?!?!?

I just received a call from this number. The foreign guy told me that I had to pay $856.16 because of a loan. Then I told him I didn't have a loan do he made up another reason. He said he was from a law firm Slater and Slater (which does not exist). He said I will go to jail if I didn't pay. I told him I need documents so I could understand and he said he couldn't send me any until I paid. And what Law firm calls after 5!? These people are crazy!!
