I spoke someone they said they were with FAI Card Services about my Bank of America Credit Card.  This makes sense check this website out.  http://www.creditorweb.com/issuers/fia-card-services.html

But I still did not trust the phone call. I NEVER do ANY sort of business over the phone if I don't know for certain who owns the phone line.  Plus I spoke with a young guy and just got a bad vibe about him wanting me to do a check by phone so I told him thank you for calling and letting me know I was late on my payment, but I'd take care of it.  He was persistant but I just ended the conversation politely.  It might be legit but I never risk it.

Called my house phone, then my cell phone... when I answered my cell with a hello, it just played music.  Called again the next day, same time, same scenario.  The third day I answered my cell but didn't say anything and the call hung up after five seconds.

I've gotten two calls a day from this number on my cell phone, first is usually around 8:30 am, second is in the 1 o'clock hour. There is silence when I try to pick up. Is it a creditor or something??

I get 3-4 calls per week from this number. Same story about a missed credit card payment and wants verification through date of birth. This is a scam. Do not answer the phone or give out any info.
