Was called by a robot who claimed that my Visa or Mastercard payments could be reduced as part of a hardship program.

Of course, I've never had a credit card, but I get these all the time.

Waited for an agent and was told the company was 'Debt Relief Center'.  The agent had the attitude that he never has spoken to anybody who has ever wanted anything but to yell at him and very quickly transfered me to an automated removal program that I've used about half a dozen times before.

At least I have the live agents scared.  Muahahaha!

Just received this at work:  "Our records indicate your loan has fallen into default or missed payments..."  I am confident that I am current with my mortgage and this appears to be a blind call to a generated number.  Press 1 for more info, press 3 to remove from list.  Call originated from somewhere in Michigan.

These jerks also called me at work.  They're supposedly from the "Home Relief Center."  They hung up on me when I started asking too many questions about them.
