Got a couple of calls, at work, from these clowns. The automated voice tells me something about my car warranty is about to expire... blah blah blah. Anyway, it goes on to say "press 1 to speak with someone". I did and got some guy who wanted my name, year, make, model of vehicle and zip code... I asked what company this was, the address, etc. and he said it was some centralized call center and I could get that information from the Warranty Specialist, but had to provide the information they needed first. - I asked him WHICH of my vehicles was about to end. - He didn't know this and asked which was my newest.... I made up some BS and so on ... For a name I gave JOHN DOE.... He started to catch on and asked my zip... I said I didn't remember it because I don't mail stuff to myself.... - He said someone would call me back and have a good day... then hung up.
- I hope they do call back because I'm gonna find out who they are. They are breaking the law by refusing to provide their information upon request, and their robocaller is leaving voice messages on my work phone. Again, their system isn't supposed to do that.
Warning to this jokers... I'm gonna find out who you are and turn you in. (insert evil maniacal laugher here).
