Received a call from these people... no message left. Anyone know?

I got a call from this number several days ago and the caller id read "Dispatch".
They left no message.  So, I have no idea why they called.

Since the caller id is delivering different names, it might be some annoying idiot trying to see who will post on these forums about the call they made.  It is as though they can gain some sort of social status by seeing how many people they can annoy.

The depth of human stupidity makes even the deepest oceans appear as shallow as a thimble.

Got a call from this number, caller ID showed "PA TELEREACH.  They left no message on the answering machine.  Assume it is another telemarketer ignoring the DO NOT CALL list using a robotic dialer.  We get several unsolicited telemarketer/scam phone calls per day.  I have blocked 30 numbers on my Panasonic phones but that is the limit.  Need a system that has 1000 number blocking feature.

I have gotten several more calls from this number, the caller ID now states it is "Courier Journal".  I called it back, using my cell phone and *67 ahead of the number to block my phone number.  I told them they could not be the Courier Journal, as it should have a 502 (Louisville KY) area code.  The man told me he is calling on behalf of the CJ to let me know about other features of my subscription I have not taken advantage of - sounds like BS to me.  Some boiler room telemarketer calling under contract from several sellers just trying to make a buck.  Hate these people!

I plan to complain to the CJ and threaten to stop my paper if it keeps up.
