got a call from this phone number.

Called the number back and it's the CT Post soliciting sales of their paper.

called in at 4:05pm and said they were authorize to give us the paper at a discounted rate. ask to repeat because caller was really abrasive. repeated what she said. kindly say no thank you, and they hung up. why would anyone on earth would want to make business over the phone like that.????

The very angry telemarketer promises to save me hundreds of dollars if I buy the CT POST. No matter how many times I say "NO" they continue on as if they dont know the meaning of "NO" this time I told them "Why dont I start saving by NOT buying your paper" The person still went on as if they would loose their job if I said NO. Still bla bla bla... on and on how there are coupons in the Sunday paper... Bla bla bla till I hang up with frustration.

the thing is they call me at least once a week... it has been going on for a year but I just got a telephone that displays the caller ID

Constantly call and NEVER speak- They hang up so there is no chance to be removed from calling list.  I was creeped out for awhile because they would call when i was home alone and then say nothing, and still be on the line, so i would hang up- partially pissed and partially freaked out.  Finally I googled the number- and saw other people's posts- so at least I know I am not the only one they do this to.
