We get a call on our home phone every 3 days or so from this number. It rings about 3 times then hangs up when we answer, or even if we don't answer.  No message is ever left.  This didn't start until after we changed our number to an unlisted number so it's very annoying to be getting this call.

VERY, VERY tired of this disruption.

I get calls from Recycle showing 231 732-2721.  I just called Qwest and they were useless. (They offered to sell me a blocking serivce!)  It is likely a phone equipment problem at a switching station.  Getting someone at the phone company who understands and cares is another thing completely.  

I just filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry.  I you have problems with this number you might do the same.

We are in Portland Oregon, and recently changed our phone service because we were getting so many calls like this. We answer the phone but no one ever says anyting. We just hang up. Last time, it said 'Recycle' in caller ID. We thought it was someone we knew pranking us, but it seems like it's not a personal attack anymore.

Same here, I live in Portland and I get a call from this number once a week or so....They just hang up
