Got a call on 2/19/2008 at 6:14 PM ET
Was recorded call from a Debt Repair Agency (no specific name given). Has you press "1" for details or "2" to be removed from list. I pressed 2 but line just went dead. This is not the first time I've gotten this call. My number is registered on the National DO NOT CALL list. Thanks to my new call capture software I am building a case against unwanted calls like this one. One of these days I may be the one making the call to them: with an invitation to see me in court. I have a hungry attorney whose lifelong ambition is to prepare a class action suit against such callers.

Recorded caller identified company as "Debt Pro" with a spiel about how to deal with debt. Main slogan is "Don't Procastinate--Negotiate!" At end of call you are asked to press 1 to speak with a representative or press 2 to remove your number from list. I pressed 2 the the line just went dead. They obviously turned off this feature of the robodialer since I got the same call yesterday, pressed 2 and the line went dead. I hope other folks are reporting these calls too. As I said in my last post on this--my attorney is already preparing the class action suit. Forget DO NOT CALL and Invasion of Privacy suits. We have a much bigger fish to fry.

Don't waste your time. These companies use fake caller ID numbers and disolve the company when the heat risies and go elsewhere and start again. The best solution is to not answer, or answer and hang up.

On 2/25/09 at 5:30 pm I received a call from this number:231 732 2302. The ID said "Call Center MI".I listened to the canned message and they said that they were "Debt Pros" and would take care of all my debts but that I had to have $10,000.00 available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They keep calling every day but this time I pressed #2 to option out of this "wonderful" opportunity(yeah right).Let's see if they put me on their Do Not Call List.Won't be long and they'll just change numbers and names but will be all the same scheme out to get the innocent person's money!

Debt Pro's won't stop calling even after you push 2 to have your phone number deleted!!!!
