It appears that these telemarketing scams are now using a new pool of numbers to circumvent blocking software. Just like spam, it is another cat and mouse game.

Press 1 to update. Pressed 1 got a person asked what state they are in. "Why". Asked again. "California" Asked person for employee ID number "What?" Asked again for employee number. CLICK she hung up. Get at least four of these calls a week to update my Google listing. I always press 1 and ask for state they are in. They bolt because they know you are looking to find out which Attorney General to contact.
