I received a text message saying the following:

"Hi Jess! This is Jen. Plz add me on Skyype msgr so we can talk a bit, its: geena3i"

I don't know anyone that uses Skype messenger and get no response from the sender when a text message is sent back to this #. How do these people get a hold of cellphone numbers and do they just guess names or are they hacking accounts to find people you actually know?

I just got the same scam message texted to my cell phone asking me to add "Judy Zimmermane" to my Skype list so she can call me. Yeah right. It's a Michigan phone number and when you call it it's some type of text messaging service scam.

I just received a text from this number as well. saying it was "Jen" and to add her to my Skyype (note the spelling) msge so we can chat a bit, its: Amytam666

not sure who this is but if it doe snot stop i will get to the bottom of it and turn them in for scamming people...

I just got one of these too. It says

"Hey Kristina ! This is Jenny. Plz add me on Skyype msgr so we can chat a bit, its:  kendra.minerva"

Not the first spam text I have received but definitely the weirdest.
