I keep getting calls from this number saying that I being sued but it wouldn't say by who Its a recording every time they call if this Katherine please press 1 and the last time I got a call it just kept saying my name and then hung up

I keep getting the same calls. Is there anything someone can do to stop these harassing calls? I will try and get in touch with the FTC.

These calls threatening law suits are scams, and well documented in other threads on this site. Ignore the message and don't pick up calls from this number, never call the number back or press 1 or 9 or anything 'to be remove,' as it only confirms that yours is a live phone number.

As for who can stop them, look in the mirror. Google CALL BLOCKER and find one that works for whatever type of phone you have. You're the only one who can stop them at the present time.
